Your job

We are looking for a Procurement Manager (m/f/d) at our Bad Neustadt/Saale location. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of purchasing, developing sustainable procurement strategies, and ensuring economical, high-quality, and timely supply.

 

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for strategic and operational purchasing within the defined area of ​​responsibility
  • Development and implementation of sustainable procurement and supplier strategies
  • Conducting tenders as well as price, contract and terms negotiations.
  • Analysis of procurement markets and identification of new supplier potential
  • Building and maintaining long-term supplier partnerships
  • Implementation of cost optimization and process improvement measures
  • Managing supplier performance and ensuring a stable supply chain
  • Leadership and development of the purchasing team as well as participation in global projects

 

You should bring this with you

  • Completed studies in the field of business administration, purchasing, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in purchasing, ideally with management responsibility
  • Experience in developing purchasing and supplier strategies
  • Negotiation skills and strong analytical abilities
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
  • Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork skills and assertiveness

 

Travel activity
