As a Procurement Manager , you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement.
  • Previous experience with managing inventory control systems.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Suite and ERP purchasing modules.
  • Experience developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPI’s) and analyzing trends to improve results
  • Previous experience with negotiation and contract management.Experienced in cost-breakdown analysis and should-cost modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in aviation; accessories preferred.
  • APICS certifications
  • SIOP experience
  • Six Sigma Training – at least yellow or green belt
  • Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and organizational skillsStrong leadership skills; ability to influence and build consensus

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency throughout the supply chain.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers/vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Accountable for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the shipping and receiving organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals spanning from Buyers to Material Controllers. Provide guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain operations.
  • Strategic critical thinking and planning for several product lines for accessories such as fuel controls, fuel pumps, pneumatics, IDGs, and others.Carries out other projects as assigned.
