Job Description Responsible and Lead for the Product Assurance domain for a space project; Responsible for the evaluation and determination of the reliability of space products; Responsible for the development of procedures for the procurement and acquisition of materials, components, and subsystems for space use; Responsible for ensuring that materials, mechanical and electrical components, and processes used to assemble space systems (whether satellites, probes, launchers, or others) are suitable for the intended purpose throughout the system's entire life cycle; Responsible for the identification of qualified suppliers of components, parts, and units for space use; Responsible for the identification of quality issues with the space product or system and reporting them to the relevant technical system leaders; Preparing technical meetings and contributing to adherence to configuration management processes; Representing an independent technical authority within development teams regarding materials, processes, mechanical and electrical components, and parts; Providing engineering support for space system development activities; Responsible for compliance verification with product assurance requirements for systems under development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree, Master's degree (preferred), or PhD in engineering, physics, mathematics, or similar fields; Relevant professional or academic experience in space mission design in fast-paced environments; Knowledge of systems engineering and the development of space missions, or space systems and subsystems; 5 or more years of experience (academic or professional) in space mission or instruments development projects; Proven professional or academic experience in implementing and overseeing product assurance processes for space systems, preferably with direct application in operational environments, complemented by prior management and leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams; Excellent communication skills and open mindset. Team leading experience is an asset; Strong management and coordination skills; Good overview in the relevant engineering disciplines to develop space missions and instruments; Analysis and tracking of requirements and specifications. Ability to organize and structure information; Autonomy and proactivity; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and cross-functional environments; High standards, rigor, and critical thinking; Strong command of the English language; Attention to detail.
