Job Description Responsible for managing major activities and projects related to the identification, launch, and growth of new business opportunities for the company. Analyzes information and develops recommendations for new initiatives, alliances, and partnerships. Responsibilities: Perform market research to identify, evaluate and launch new growth opportunities. Act as a project manager with respect to new opportunities by constructing an initial business case, identifying/researching potential partners, coordinating market research, and coordination with marketing to develop sales and marketing materials. Identifies what is important to track within their selected markets and reports on developments. Tracks and reports various performance metrics and modifies projections as appropriate based on insights drawn from industry events, customer behavior, technology developments, etc. Provides ongoing competitive intelligence on competitors. Act as a consultant by becoming a subject matter expert in a particular area and coach others as they launch similar initiatives. Perform other duties and participate in special projects as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field. MBA preferred. 3+ years experience in business development, contracts, licensing or marketing. Well developed research skills. Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Strong financial background. Demonstrated project management skills. General comfort in working with ambiguity. Additional Information RRD's current salary range for this role is $94,200 to $150,700 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
