Title and Summary Manager, Product Management - Technical Mastercard Economic Intelligence (EI) is looking for a versatile Manager, Product Management – Technical to operate at the intersection of product strategy and technical execution. Your mission is twofold: to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for growth and to act as a primary engine for execution. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable writing crisp product requirements, collaborating deeply with engineering, and operating in ambiguity while shaping new opportunities. Responsibilities • Own the interface between Product and Engineering, ensuring both sides understand context, constraints, and priorities • Partner with Product leadership to decompose product strategy into technical roadmaps and implementation plans • Work with Engineering to surface technical constraints, dependencies, and opportunities that shape product decisions • Ensure product requirements are technically sound and engineering work aligns with product goals • Identify and resolve misalignments between product timelines and engineering capacity or architecture decisions • Create feedback loops so Product learns from Engineering insights and Engineering understands Product rationale • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, accountability, and customer-centric thinking About you • Experience in product management or technical product roles • Fluent in writing detailed product requirements for engineering teams • Experience contributing to new product development or MVP launches • Comfort using both structure and creativity to break down complex problems • Team-first, curious, outcome-oriented, and hypothesis-driven • Ability to communicate ideas with eloquence and authenticity • Flexibility to operate in both structured delivery and ambiguous innovation contexts • Strong systems thinking and comfort with APIs, data flows, and integration a plus Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
