Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1.    Leading the understanding of the category to identify new opportunity areas and conceptualize new products Understanding the need for new products in respective segments 2.    Data analysis of relevant Industry data points 3.    Undertake plans for refreshes, new development and develop the segment specific roadmap Plan4.    Understanding customer requirements related to Product and translate the same into cost effective product/technical solutions as well, communicate and track the same to the program teams dynamically for implementation.5.    Studying the applicable regulations for future compliance. Track and analyse relevant industry data points like market trends/ segment shifts (Indian & global), consumer trends, competitor activities/ products.6.    Create, manage, and implement product life cycle plans for existing products 7.    Interfacing & controlling the complexity involved in product development by balancing the needs of the Marketing/sales team and the product development team8.    Interface with CFT to detail the product concept, conclude the business case, and complete MPDS deliverables from concept till product launch including Medial Drive event9.    Drive Product definition through various stages of gateway deliverables till Business case finalisation - Communicate and track the same to program teams dynamically for implementation.10.    Prepare the project business case and submit to finance after alignment with key stake holders11.Work on the product positioning at the time of launch and drive variant and pricing strategies in collaboration with different country managers.12.Work closely with the marketing team on the GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy to ensure successful product launches.Experience •Experience of 4-7 years years relevant experience with at least 2 years in a customer facing function like Sales/Marketing/Customer Care etc.  •Product Planning experience will be preferred•Proven track record of success in developing and executing a business case•International markets exposure in business planning/coordination (Good to Have) Industry Preferred Qualifications Must Have : : BE/ B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Good to have : MBA Marketing desirableGeneral Requirements •    Ability to weave the product concept into a strong narrative and reason to win•    Good Interpersonal skills, able to adapt and work with leaders and CFT teams•    Cross-functional working skills to collaborate with functions like Design, R&D, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, Customer Service etc•    Keen follower of market & consumer Insights.•    Passionate about cars and the automotive industry•    Ability to think holistically with a strategic intent•    Ability to communicate and pitch new products to Senior Management for approval and direction•    Proficient in MS Excel and Power-point
