About the Role The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success with hands-on execution in managing and controlling the production department to meet plant business needs. Work closely with other department colleague for planning, urgent material track, OTD, product quality control, safety, trouble shotting, employee development. What You Will Do Be responsible for on-time delivery, product quality and production cost efficiency to meet business objectives and achieve the targets of annual budget and production KPIs. Cooperating with support team to optimize the manufacturing process by improving personal skills, equipment, tools and flow layout to approach the best quality & efficiency. Be responsible for continuous improvement of production line through eliminating waste. Analyze staffing and production goals, make reasonable staffing suggestions, and propose workshop personnel development and retention plans. Organize daily production meetings, follow up improvement action plan. Coordinate with others to fix the issue during production. Maintains good labor relations with employees in accordance with contract, plant rules and regulations. Monitor the implementation of EHS police in production process, make sure a safety environment to achieved operation. Maintain proper 5S standards in production areas. Any other jobs assigned by superior leaders. What You Need to Be Successful Bachelor degree or master’s degree in MBA, Business, Engineering, Mechanical, Management etc. 10+ years related experience in Production Management area, with a focus on automotive products delivery and a track record of improving production operation and reducing costs. Systems thinking/mindset, including the ability to create an understanding of a larger system by examining linkages and interactions between components. Demonstrate ability to provide an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others. Fluent English in both written and oral communication. Bonus Points if You Have Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global matrixed organization. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, facilitation, presentation skills and analytical skills. Be familiar with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
