Job Title Manager Production Equipment and Support Job Description Are you a hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of production technology, quality, and people? We are now looking for a manager to join the Global Manufacturing leadership team at our headquarters in Lund. Who is your future team? You will lead the Production Systems High Volume Lab (PSHV Lab), a group of around 10 engineers and technicians responsible for the production and test systems that Axis uses across its global manufacturing footprint. Axis products are built at external EMS partner sites around the world and our production systems are what enables consistent quality and throughput across that network, from optical alignment and image-quality optimization to radar calibration and audio verification. The group's mission spans the full life cycle of our production systems: evaluation of suppliers, providing capacity to EMS sites, acting as 1st line support, advising on system-related quality issues, maintaining hardware and software through on-site service visits, and running the in-house lab areas. As Manager of PSHV Lab, you will report directly to the Director of Global Manufacturing and be part of the Global Manufacturing leadership team. Together, you are responsible for securing long-term capacity and capabilities to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-conscious production. What will you do? You will lead and develop the group both strategically and operationally, including: Setting strategy and goals for the group, aligned with the Global Manufacturing agenda Driving continuous improvement in ways of working and processes Budget ownership, including investments in production equipment Coaching and developing your team, with clear resource planning and priorities Building strong collaboration across Axis and with our EMS partners and suppliers Contributing to initiatives within the Global Manufacturing leadership team Who are we looking for? We are looking for a structured team-builder with a genuine interest in leading and developing people. You are driven and open, see the bigger picture, and are confident navigating a complex stakeholder landscape, including external manufacturing partners. You likely have: At least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in complex, international organizations Experience driving change and implementing new ways of working Experience from production environments, ideally including work with external manufacturing partners Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. Deep specialist expertise in production engineering is not required, the emphasis is on leadership and team development.
