OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for the supervision of all production operations and personnel in order to produce quality dairy products in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner.
Salary: $104,265 - $136,850

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Food Science, Microbiology) or equivalent related experience;
• Minimum 5 years management experience in food manufacturing or processing; preferably dairy manufacturing;
• Thorough knowledge of dairy operations with emphasis on packaging and sanitation;
• Experience in successful leading, coaching, motivating and developing a team in a “hands on” environment;
• Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills, superior communication and interpersonal skills;
• Must be initiative-taking, results oriented, possess a high degree of initiative, and works well under pressure;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
