We recognise their valuable contributions and deep connection to country and pay respect to Elders past and present. * Lead the strategic direction of Professional Experience Placements across UTAS Health * Drive excellence in placement governance, compliance and service delivery * Full time, ongoing role based in Launceston  About the opportunity The Manager, Professional Experience Placements (PEP) provides strategic leadership and operational governance of professional experience placement delivery, establishing the service model, setting priorities and driving performance across the PEP team. The role is accountable for placement delivery across disciplines within UTAS Health, ensuring consistent, efficient and high quality processes, and partnering with Academic Units, industry and central University functions to deliver scalable placement outcomes. What you’ll do: * Govern and lead professional placement functions across UTAS Health. * Provide strategic leadership of the placement team, setting direction, managing performance, developing capability and fostering a positive, accountable and collaborative culture. * Collaborate effectively and facilitate engagement with external PEP partners. * Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational and compliance risks associated with Professional Experience Placements. * Accountable for the successful management of systems and data compliance.­ What we’re looking for: * Proven people leadership capability, including building high‑performing teams, managing across locations and fostering excellence in others. * Demonstrated experience in the management of professional experience placements. * Proven ability to analyse complex issues, apply independent judgement and use data and evidence to inform decision making. * Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, quality assurance and system optimisation. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152,033 comprising base salary within the range of $114,282 to $129,943 plus 17% superannuation.
