Join one of WA’s most trusted organisations and help deliver some of the state’s most exciting tourism and accommodation projects. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of major projects across RAC’s Tourism portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction, commissioning and handover ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. You’ll play a key role in bringing family friendly accommodation to life in some of WA’s most sought after locations, delivering exceptional experiences for our members. Bringing a blend of design coordination, project management and construction site experience, you’ll thrive in a hands-on role and bring a background in consulting or contracting. You’ll also bring strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of stakeholders. What you’ll be doing You will play a key role in delivering RAC’s tourism development projects by: • Leading end-to-end project delivery, from planning and design through to construction and handover • Developing project delivery strategies, methodologies and contracting approaches • Coordinating internal teams, consultants and contractors to ensure aligned and efficient delivery • Managing procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation and contract award • Overseeing project performance across scope, schedule, cost and quality • Identifying and managing risks, constraints and dependencies across all project stages • Maintaining strong financial and commercial oversight, including budgets, forecasting and reporting • Driving consistency and continuous improvement across project systems, tools, and processes • Ensuring compliance with Australian standards, regulatory requirements and governance frameworks • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including authorities, partners, and internal teams • Communicating project progress, risks, and outcomes clearly and effectively • Championing RAC’s values, Code of Conduct and LEAD leadership behaviours What you will bring • Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects ($5M–$60M+) • Background in engineering consulting, construction management or a similar environment • Experience leading cross-functional teams across complex projects • Strong project planning, delivery and commercial management capability • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience improving project delivery systems, processes or frameworks • Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite (design/modelling tools advantageous) • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline (desirable) • Project Management certification (desirable) Why RAC?
