MISSION

We have a fantastic opportunity in our Operations Team based in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is a challenging role in which you will have responsibility for the department of project managers, coordinators, and project administrators, actively working to organize, lead, and develop the department in terms of operations, personnel, budget, and work environment issues. Responsible for achieving the set goals and working in the most efficient way within the given financial framework. As a manager, you will also participate in steering group work, contributing to positive development both within your own operations and the project operations as a whole.
This is a fulltime job, permanent, start date is flexible.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 Years experience in a similar role
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Project Management
  • Excellent Communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • Experience of Managing Multi-Cultural Teams
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for budgeting and financial reporting for the department
  • Responsibilities for personnel in the department include conducting development discussions, negotiating salaries, and organizing workplace meetings, among others.
  • Regularly status reports to the immediate superior
  • Responsible for developing processes, routines, roles, and job descriptions to streamline and facilitate work for employees
  • Responsible for all permanently employed Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Project Administrators within the Project Execution department
  • Compile competency matrix and other relevant staffing documents (excluding subcontractors) in dialogue regarding staffing
  • Responsibility for personnel in project operations.
  • Reconstructions and risk assessments of machines
  • Performs TAKE5 at all customer or project visits
  • Directing, leading, and controlling daily work within the group, especially considering competence and workload
  • Ensuring a good work environment and actively working to counteract harassment, bullying, solitary work, and negative discrimination, as well as maintaining regular contact with personnel
  • Ensuring physical well-being through regular health check-ups
  • Ensuring good recovery by respecting daily and weekly rest periods, vacation, and annual working hours
  • Conducting performance/development reviews and ensuring employees develop their competence and experience
  • Responsible for compliance with Swedish laws and regulations including HSE Regulations
  • Report knowledge of accidents, incidents, and risks (SOFI) to the Manager or Safety Officer, or through correct channels
  • Ensuring the correct competence of employees regarding emergency plans safety routines.
  • Ensuring good quality work within the group, monitoring against relevant KPIs/metrics according to company process and standards.
  • Perform safety audits and report SOFIs and/or experiences for active operational development.
