QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in design concept and development.
  • Good knowledge and experiences in planning and implementation of M&E projects from inception to completion.
  • Knowledge of design, local Code of Practices, Building and Fire Safety Regulations, preferably in SEA and/or India markets.
  • Prior experience in consultancy services and/ or design experience in industrial park or industrial buildings is an advantage
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to audience of non-technical background effectively to achieve buy-in.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to evaluate and grasp new or renewable technology (e.g. solar, BESS, security and SMART technology) when it is deployed to projects.
  • Possess basic development sustainability knowledge relevant to real estate business.
  • Able to work independently in own area of specialty and work effectively and collectively as one D&M team
  • Willing to travel when business need arises.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The incumbent will join as a part of the internal multi-disciplinary Design & Management (D&M) Team, who provides specialist advisory and assessment in all electrical engineering related subject matters in both land infrastructure and building development in the Asian markets.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review engineering design for industrial parks and township infrastructure plan/or concepts to achieve optimal design and cost for M&E works, from project feasibility to execution.
  • Work with the D&M Team during the project planning stage to provide engineering inputs to produce realistic schedule and budget for projects
  • Assist Project Manager to meet all project milestones toward completion of development projects within budget, schedule and acceptable quality.
  • Liaise and coordinate with all stakeholders such as project owners, consultant, contractors, etc, as part of the D&M Team.
  • Review product materials and designs suitable for project application.
  • Conduct ad-hoc studies and analysis on electrical engineering subject matters to facilitate continuous process of development and product enhancement.
