Description
Jurong Port’s multipurpose port operating expertise includes efficient handling of general, bulk and containerized cargo, management and operations of the Tuas Offshore Marine Centre, and Lighter Terminals in Penjuru and Marina South. Besides Singapore, Jurong Port is involved in overseas joint ventures in China and Indonesia. In 2016, Jurong Port’s local and overseas terminals handled close to 35 million tons of general and bulk cargo, and 560,000 TEUs of container cargo. The Job Project Execution & Delivery * Lead end to end execution of assigned CAPEX/OPEX projects. * Monitor milestones, critical paths, and project deliverables to ensure QCDS compliance.  * Conduct risk assessment and implement control measures throughout the project lifecycle.  Project Planning & Feasibility * Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new and ongoing projects. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, objectives and project policies.  * Support long-term planning, including 3-year expansion and electrification strategies.  Innovation & Sustainability Initiatives * Drive innovation to reduce running costs and enhance project efficiency. * Implement DfMA/DfS strategies, modular systems, prefabrication, and ecosystem solutions. * Integrate renewable energy, solar PV and sustainability initiatives  Technical Standards & SOP Management * Develop and maintain technical documentation databases and SOPs and ensure alignment with interdepartmental processes and updated industry codes.  Stakeholder Management * Guide consultants in technical specifications, prequalification and tender processes. * Evaluate and recommend contractors/sub-contractors, manage post-tender assessments and conduct grading exercises. * Continually engage internal and external stakeholders to meet service expectations. Project Closure & Evaluation * Lead project closure analysis and lessons learned initiatives. * Conduct post-project evaluations, contractor grading, and technical verifications.   The Requirements * Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Civil or Facilities Management with Project Management skillset.  * Possess of other technical certification would be an advantage.  * Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity.  * Able to make decisions of reasonable and logical quality, proactive and positive stakeholder management skills.  * Good teamwork and strong people management skills.  * Good written and presentation skills.
