WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Deloitte Consulting Team delivers Digital Onboarding and Product Origination journeys for financial institutions. We design and develop digital journeys for our customers using COTS platforms, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
Join us as Manager in our FSI Consulting team in Romania, to perform the best work of your career and solve the most unique and interesting challenges. We are looking for a customer-facing team player, to fully own/drive/communicate projects and navigate complex digital solutions. You will anticipate and solve problems working with & managing internal business partners, external partners and customers, developers, consultants and executives. You will define, control, execute, and close everything in a project. You will have a team of professionals by your side, to coordinate, guide and lead to success.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years end-to-end project management experience, out of which at least 2 years delivering IT / software implementation / system integration projects (banking experience is a differentiator)
  • Demonstrated career trajectory – evidence of taking on larger responsibilities and/or more senior roles across professional path
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM) are highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of project management methods (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello),
  • Project planning experience - Gantt chart creation and project status reporting
  • Familiarity with Digital Transformation terminology
  • Fundamental understanding of the five project management process groups
  • Experience managing cross-cultural and remote project teams
  • Ability to excel at solving problems that require logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers and the ability to untangle complex issues
  • Experience managing partners & customers and cross-functional internal teams
  • Ability to navigate complex issues and simplify them into pain-points and solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-changing organization
  • Professional attitude to “make things happen”
  • Strong communication skills including experience in a customer-facing role
  • Strong negotiation skills

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 10+ technical consultants to help clients achieve new performance objectives
  • Manage project scope and change orders
  • Manage project risks and issues
  • Review, approve and track commitments in agreed statements of work
  • Draft and maintain project specific schedules, budgets, project plans
  • Maintain all necessary project artifacts
  • Obtain client agreement to the project schedule and goals
  • Maintain effective communication internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for the project
  • Address customer issues with speed and efficiency
  • Successfully deliver professional services for assigned projects
  • Effectively manage customer relationships for projects
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
