ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience delivering complex, high-impact projects in large organisations or complex environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams (up to 10 people)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and risk management skills
  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Process) or Project Management
  • Experience working across mining, manufacturing, logistics, or related industries

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally you will have:

  • Project Management qualifications or certifications
  • Over 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Familiarity with digital tools, project reporting systems, and data platforms
  • Experience working in continuous improvement and transformation frameworks
  • Knowledge of Liebherr equipment, systems, or similar OEM technical environments
  • Regional or international project exposure

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly driven Manager – Projects to join our Customer Support division, based in Adelaide. This key leadership position will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects that drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction across Australia’s mining operations.
Reporting to the General Manager, Strategy and Compliance, you’ll lead cross-functional project teams, manage stakeholder expectations, mitigate risk, and ensure delivery of high-impact initiatives on time, within scope, and budget. With a strong emphasis on project governance, continuous improvement, and cross-departmental collaboration, this role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.

SKILLS AND DUTIES:

In this highly influential role with an immediate start:

  • Lead and manage strategic project execution from initiation to completion, optimise resource allocation, implement project governance frameworks, oversee project budgets to ensure efficiency and QA along with HSE compliance
  • Ensure alignment with organisational goals, customer expectations, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Customer Service

    to drive collaboration and transparency, and provide executive level updates

  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks and issues whilst championing continuous improvement of digital tools, service processes, and reporting practices

  • Mentor and lead a team of up to 12, promoting professional development and excellence
