Description
The Cultural Project Manager will support the Cultural Business Unit by managing key cultural development initiatives and ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s strategic vision. The role combines project management expertise with cultural sector knowledge, focusing on governance, stakeholder alignment, partnerships and the integration of art and culture into Qiddiya’s wider development plans. This is a cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with architects, consultants, finance, commercial and construction teams, while also engaging with external cultural partners and stakeholders. The position will evolve as projects advance, requiring adaptability, creativity and a strong commitment to Qiddiya’s cultural mission. Key Responsibilities: · Project Management: Coordinate and monitor cultural projects from concept through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and scopes are managed effectively. · Governance & Transparency: Uphold strong governance standards, ensuring accountability, transparency and compliance across cultural projects. · Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate collaboration across internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and shared objectives. · Cultural Programming & Benchmarking: Research and prepare briefs, benchmark against global institutions and provide insights tailored to local context and priorities. · Public Art & Placemaking: Contribute to public art initiatives, embedding cultural storytelling and community engagement into Qiddiya developments. · Partnerships & Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with international cultural institutions, embassies and local stakeholders to foster collaboration. · Communications & Narrative: Develop compelling narratives and reports that articulate Qiddiya’s cultural vision to both internal and external audiences. · Policy & Documentation: Draft and review policies for loans, exhibitions and partnerships; contribute to frameworks for asset management and cultural delivery.
