This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 480000 - Rs 600000 (ie INR 4.8 - 6 LPA) Min Experience: 5 years JobType: full-time The Manager – Projects (Prototyping Division) is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, tracking, and successful delivery of prototyping projects across multiple manufacturing technologies. This role requires strong project management expertise, cross-functional coordination, cost ownership, and client-facing communication, with accountability for project performance, operational efficiency, and contribution to business growth. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans and allocate resources across Additive Manufacturing (3DP), Casting, CNC machining, Finishing, and Painting operations. Track project progress against timelines, identify risks or delays, and implement timely mitigation strategies. Act as the primary point of contact for clients by providing proactive updates, addressing technical queries, and escalating risks where required. Monitor and control project costs, evaluate make-vs-buy decisions, and manage outsourcing to third-party vendors when necessary. Consolidate and analyze project MIS across teams, preparing weekly and monthly management reports and dashboards. Coordinate closely with L2 Supervisors and functional leads to balance capacity and optimize workload distribution. Ensure adherence to planning, execution, and reporting SOPs across all project stages. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project planning, tracking, and execution processes. Lead, mentor, and develop project assistants and team members to build long-term capability. Support sales and business development teams by providing feasibility studies, timelines, and project planning inputs. Own project-level cost efficiency and contribute to P&L performance at the project level. Required Skills & Competencies End-to-end project planning, scheduling, and execution in manufacturing environments. Strong project monitoring, control, and risk mitigation capabilities. Client communication and stakeholder management at senior levels. Cost control, budgeting, and outsourcing / vendor management expertise. MIS reporting, dashboard creation, and management presentations. Cross-functional coordination across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams. SOP-driven execution, compliance, and quality assurance. Process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and scalability. Team leadership, mentoring, and capability development. Business acumen with ownership of project-level P&L and growth orientation. Qualifications B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
