Description
Under the direction of the Director, Property Marketing, the Manager, Property Marketing works closely with key stakeholders and Brand Marketing to develop, plan and monitor Yaamava’ marketing projects. Manages marketing projects and creative brief workflow from start to completion. Collaborates, initiates, and supports opportunities with other functions by championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribe’s vision, mission and values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Partners closely with stakeholders and the Brand Marketing team to manage project requests and creative briefs, overseeing planning, resourcing, and execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope. 2. Develops and execute property marketing programs, including internal communications, Shared Services coordination, vendor management, contract facilitation, and post-initiative evaluations. 3. Collaborates with vendors, agencies, and sponsorship partners to deliver partnership commitments effectively. 4. Partners with Marketing leadership to uphold brand integrity, manage on-site marketing collateral, and ensure all creative content aligns with brand standards through review and editing. 5. Initiates and track creative project requests through completion, utilizing project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Smartsheet) and clear creative briefs. 6. Leads the Property Marketing team, establish department processes, oversee the content calendar, and identify marketing opportunities that drive revenue. 7. Maintains operational efficiency by managing department timelines, project schedules, and training team members on project management tools and procedures. 8. Coordinates social and digital marketing efforts to ensure consistent brand messaging across channels, including influencer programs. 9. Supports marketing and advertising initiatives by compiling data and developing organized presentations and marketing plans. 10. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience required. Minimum three (3) years of project management and/or creative traffic experience required. Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience required. Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA) Strong leadership and people management skills required with good motivational and collaboration emphasis; communicates change effectively, overcomes resistance and builds commitment. Ability to delegate, multi-task, lead and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Must maintain a strict level of confidentiality and act in a manner consistent with all legal and regulatory requirements and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Must be personable and professional, capable of using caution and discretion in communication. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license. No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS – ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and working environment described here are representative of those that an employee encounters and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled office setting. Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences. Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility. Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties. Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
