WHAT DO I NEED?

We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for tech risk. Here’s what’ll set you up for success:

• Deep experience in technology assurance or audit, particularly across cyber security, information security, and business recovery risks. You understand how these risks play out in real-world systems and controls.
• Ability to interpret regulatory obligations into actionable assurance activities.
• Experience in CPS234 and CPS 910 is highly valued with experience in CPS230 ideal but not required.
• Proven ability to assess control design and effectiveness, including manual and automated controls, IT general controls, and system interfaces - you’re comfortable testing and challenging what’s in place.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, insightful reports and influence stakeholders at all levels - technical and non-technical alike.
• A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to challenge constructively, build trust, and drive meaningful change across diverse teams and business units.

You’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding Westpac’s tech landscape, leading assurance reviews that ensure our systems and controls meet APRA’s Prudential Standards and Returns.
