The Publications Manager partners closely with Therapy Areas, Data Management, Medical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality dissemination of data across congress presentations, peer-reviewed journals, and other scientific channels. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain all therapeutic area publication plans aligned with medical and brand strategies. * Identify publication opportunities across journals, congresses, and digital scientific platforms. * Identify publication amplification opportunities across journals, congresses, and digital scientific platforms. * Manage end-to-end development of abstracts, manuscripts, posters, presentations, and encores. * Work with Medical Affairs colleagues to pull through insights and data gaps into the publication strategy. * Work with Medical Affairs colleagues to ensure pull-through of publications (and extenders) into applicable medical communications materials. * Systematically compiles/assesses/maintains/communicates metrics that monitor publication reach. * Attend medical conferences to explore publication opportunities, as needed. Education and Experience Qualifications: * Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD/MD/PhD preferred). * 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. * Experience in publication planning and content development. * Strong knowledge of publication ethics and industry guidelines. * Excellent project management, writing, and stakeholder communication skills. * Experience collaborating with Field Medical teams to ensure seamless scientific exchange and alignment of publication strategy is considered a strong plus.
