This pivotal role within our Quality Airfield Operations team offers the opportunity to lead quality management initiatives that directly impact the efficiency and safety of our aviation services. About the Role As the Manager of Quality Assurance, you will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing quality assurance processes within our airfield operations. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for implementing and maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards that comply with both corporate and regulatory requirements. Your work will ensure that all activities meet or exceed industry benchmarks, contributing to the reliability and reputation of ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance programs and procedures for Airfield operations to align with company policies and aviation industry standards. Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments to evaluate compliance with quality and safety protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, safety, and engineering departments to address quality-related issues and drive corrective actions. Analyze quality data and trends to identify risks and opportunities for process enhancements. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and support certification and accreditation processes. Provide training and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on quality assurance practices and safety awareness. Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the department. Ensure operational integrity and safety within the airfield environment. Enforce discipline and adherence to safe work practices Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management Qualifications and Skills Degree or Diploma in Aerospace / Aviation Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within aviation or airfield operations. Proven experience in quality assurance or quality management roles, preferably within the aviation or defence sectors. Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent aviation industry norms. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail. Effective communicator, adept at reporting and collaborating with diverse teams.
