Key Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Lead, manage and mentor Quality team to ensure productive and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and/or improve Quality framework and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Define, develop and deploy quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product development.
  • Maintain ISO22K manual review and documentation updates (risk assessments, specifications and procedures) to comply with food safety certification, statutory requirements, customers’ food safety standards / requirement and company policies.
  • Drive project initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards and requirements.
  • Establish and align procedures to manage export production to overseas markets.
  • Lead and coordinate all internal and external audit activities with relevant parties.
  • Lead and conduct investigations on feedbacks and complaints from customers and ensure CAPA completion to resolve food safety / quality issues.
  • Conduct Food Safety & Hygiene and HACCP training to factory employees.
  • Vet and approve all local and overseas product labelling artwork to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor product integrity by conducting routine microbiological verification testing, manage the product sensory evaluation and shelf life validation.
  • Monitor plant performances, drive continuous improvement plans, fostering a food safety culture environment.
  • Manage the supplier management approval program for existing and onboarding of new suppliers.
  • Prepare Quality and Performance reporting to Senior Management.

Key Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Food Science/ Technology or other relevant fields.
  • Professional certificates such as FSMS, Quality Auditor, Internal Auditor/ Lead Auditor.
  • Strong knowledge in GMP/ HACCP/ GFSI/ ISO22000
  • At least 5 years of experiences in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates with experience leading team preferred.
  • Meticulous and possess strong drive to detect and resolve issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
