Job Description Responsibilities and Tasks Manage the relationship between Expeditors landlords, commercial real estate brokers and vendors with the Expeditors district teams. Manage the full life cycle of real estate transactions for lease renewals, new sites, expansions and exits across the portfolio. Oversee leasehold improvements, procurement at scale, retrofits and construction estimates. Manage real estate financial transactions relating to lease obligations (base rent, additional expenses). Provide advanced project management skills with the ability to drive results across multiple time zones and priorities. Apply performance management, reporting and budget management techniques to monitor workplace planning and build out projects. Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems for project budgets and capex budgets. Support department strategic initiatives and needs analysis for real estate consolidation, space utilization, relocations and growth. Physical Demands Use of standard office equipment - computer with keyboard and mouse, phone, fax/copy/scan machine, etc. Write with pencil/pen/marker Functions performed primarily while seated at desk Qualifications 5-10 years of experience managing commercial real estate transactions across international markets. Problem solving skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Able to pivot quickly, reprioritize based on market shifts, and develop creative solutions. Comfortable advising senior leaders and managers aligning cross-functional teams and building credibility. Software proficiency skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, MS powerpoint, portfolio database management). Expertise in managing vendors for real estate transactions, space planning and construction cost estimation. Experience with real estate and construction financial budgeting and project capex management. Expertise in managing real estate transactions across full real estate life cycle for Expeditors European, MAIR and Asia Pacific geographies. Financial acumen with the ability to interpret P&L, ROI and expense structures.
