Job Description What is the opportunity? The successful candidate will join a competitive Reconciliation and Investigation team to lead a diverse and exciting team. Supporting the development of staff and escalations from the business, the candidate will meet the operational needs, keeping abreast with technological trends and maintaining regulatory and audit controls. Working Hours: 4PM-1AM/5PM-2AM What will you do? Provide leadership and oversight into the team activities, ensuring department goals, and individual objectives are met in a flex team environment. Develop close relationships with other operational groups, clients and vendors to capture synergies and maintain service level agreements Establish operational strategies ensuring staffing needs, system requirements, policy changes and resources are in place to facilitate department strategies Determine service gaps and client impact errors, ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained for Investigations. Lead the team in providing excellent service and communicating standards throughout the business. Oversee the activities of break investigations to ensure that the achievement of quality departmental goals and objectives are met Ensure that our clients consistently receive superior service and support that is responsive, comprehensive and professional Actively participate in the establishment, implementation, review and enforcement of audit, SOX, regulatory and RBC Standing Orders requirements, and ensure the requirements are well communicated and followed by staff; Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all records, policies and procedures meet regulatory, statutory and established Bank practices What do you need to succeed? Must-have 2+ years of experience managing a team 4+ years of experience in a Financial setting Strong communication skills Highly developed problem solving skills Ability to oversee and manage a diverse team Strong ability to exercise a high degree of judgement and negotiation Highly developed leadership Nice-to-have: Knowledge of International Banking Practices Reconciliation or Accounting background Knowledge of Cash Settlements and trading products A quick learner comfortable with ambiguity What’s in it for you?
