Job Title: Manager, Refugee & Specialized Programs
Status: Regular, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: This position starts at $72,000 per year and increases to $103,535 per year, over a 10-year period. This salary range incorporates experience, yearly salary increments to reward years of service, employee growth and development within the organization.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS:

  • University degree in social sciences or relevant post-secondary education;
  • Minimum of 2-years experience in program and contract management within a not- for-profit context;
  • Minimum of 2-years experience supervising staff, preferably in a unionized environment;
  • Minimum of 2-years experience working with community, food security, volunteer and/or senior’s programs/services;
  • Experience with funding and proposal/grant writing;
  • Experience with budget forecasting and expenditure monitoring;
  • Strong English language skills (written, oral and presentation skills);
  • Second language an asset;
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong computer literacy skills, in particular, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS);
  • Experience with SharePoint and webinar development is preferred;
  • Social media marketing a definite asset;
  • Demonstrated understanding of the immigrant, refugee and settlement experience;
  • Knowledge of outcomes measurements;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent problem solving ability, discretion and judgement;
  • Able to work independently and collegially in a team environment;
  • Innovative, flexible, and able to manage change and uncertainty.
  • BC Class 5 Driver’s License and access to personal vehicle;
  • Willing to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
    A criminal record check is required as a part of this process.
