Job Responsibility: * Drives the implementation of Consumer Protection Standard within defined timeframes by UAE Central Bank and meet all required timelines.  * Tracks and follows-up with all the stakeholders on gap-assessment and solutions for compliance with the regulatory standards.  * Support in publishing timely and complete monitoring update for senior stakeholders covering all broad aspects of the Consumer Protection Regulation.  * Support the implementation plan - covering all products and service areas defined within the Consumer Protection Regulation and Standards * Reviews Policies and Procedures based on Consumer Protection and other regulatory guidelines and/or observations from Internal Audit, Compliance and Regulators etc. Responsible to lead any ongoing bank-wide regulatory exercises pertaining to Consumer Protection. * Ensures all Consumer Protection Regulation related reporting, dashboards etc. are published according to set deadlines.  * Publishes required project status updates and highlighting key areas of concern in management reviews at various forums including Consumer Protection Steering Committee * Involved in critical analysis of approach and interpretation of Consumer Protection Regulation for solutions and planning. * Ongoing basis, identify weaknesses and implement control checks with support from relevant stakeholders to ensure no deviation from prescribed Consumer Protection standards.  * Develops and maintains a strong relationship with internal & external stakeholders to ensure the Bank remains.   * Coordinates with Business / Segments / Channels for internal and external audit reviews related to Consumer Protection Regulations and oversees timely resolution of any related observations.      Job Skills & Qualifications: * Graduate Finance or Management Background * Knowledge of Retail Banking Products, Policies and Services across channels including branches, digital, contact center and Self -Service Channels  * At least 12+ years of banking experience spanning across business processes, products, procedures, operations, compliance, risk and understanding of consumer protection regulation of CBUAE.  What we offer you: * Competitive salary package  * Strong emphasis on work-life balance and wellbeing across the bank  * World-class Learning & Development platform and career development  * Generous annual leave entitlement and Private Healthcare  * Preferential banking facilities for employees  EIB Emirates Islamic was launched in 2004 to deliver the highest standards of banking services in line with Shari'a principles.
