About the Hours: This position is primarily first shift, however a lot of flexibility is needed. During times of staffing issues, call-offs, the needs of the program, increases in demand, etc. this position will be required to provide the hands-on supports and services to the people who receive our services. This position requires some on-call responsibilities. About the Manager Position Provides the support and assistance to people we support to achieve skills necessary to live independently within the community and to create conditions within the homes to facilitate growth and self-awareness. The Manager of Community Home Services is responsible for supervision and oversight of the Team Leaders and Direct Support Professionals in the assigned Community Homes. The Manager plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall delivery of services in accordance with current federal, state, and program standards, guidelines and regulations as well as organizational policy and procedure. The Manager also recommends changes that would improve services performed. The Manager oversees the safety of the physical environment and addresses concerns in a timely manner; demonstrates knowledge of regulations by maintaining compliance with regulations within the residential site; participates in annual inspections of the homes; assists the Director in developing a Plan of Correction to address the results of inspection. Provides direct care in a backup role if necessary. Must be willing to become a certified investigator and assist with training as needed. Must have knowledge of PA state/county intellectual disability system. Must be familiar with Individuals Support Plans and must be familiar with principles of Everyday Lives.
