About the Role
We are seeking a Manager Resource Characterisation to lead a high-performing team focused on the collection, analysis, modelling and interpretation of geological data to support resource characterisation and strategic decision-making. This role is pivotal in translating geoscience strategy into operational plans and driving technical excellence across our resource characterisation activities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the planning and integration of geological, structural, geochemical, geophysical, geometallurgical and geostatistical datasets to generate valuable orebody knowledge.
  • Lead the application of advanced geostatistical techniques to model spatial variability and quantify geological uncertainty.
  • Driving strategic decision-making through evidence-based value analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Managing complex projects and resource allocation to deliver value and align with long-term business objectives.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and foster collaboration.
  • Championing a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

About You
Reporting to the Head of Geoscience, this position will work with multidisciplinary teams to explore new ways of working to deliver deposit knowledge, unlock resource value and communicate geological risk.

As the successful candidate ideally, you will:

  • Relevant industry experience
  • A degree in geoscience, geology, geostatistics, engineering or mining-related technical discipline.
  • Experience in resource estimation, geological modelling and geostatistical analysis.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align technical work with business objectives.
  • Value based decision making with clear criteria for success
  • Principal and systems-based thinking to achieve desired outcomes.
  • A commitment to safety, customer value, and operational excellence.
  • Strong problem solving, ability to leading through change and visualising and managing performance
