2 year / Associate Degree : Associate of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in Respiratory Care or its equivalent is required (Required)
- 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree : Bachelor’s degree preferred (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Required Certifications/Licensures: (Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)) (Required)
0+ years: Supervisory experience is preferred with clinical experience in Critical Care, OB, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Neonatal patient populations. Must have a working knowledge of Joint Commission Accreditation of Health Organization regulations, Indiana State Board of Health regulations, College of American Pathologist regulations, and quality improvement processes. Must be knowledgeable of department and hospital financial processes. (Required)

A functional knowledge of the Respiratory Care Department.
- Must be able to perform the duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Assures that staffing plan and other targets, such as quality and other KPI targets are met in support of PRIIDE Values.
- Ensures timely feedback to staff regarding job competencies and related targets.
- Updates, revises, and develops policies and procedures for Respiratory Care.
- Ensures quality on-boarding to department, job, and Network of new employees.
- Ensures compliance with JCAHO, State Department of Health, CLIA and other regulatory bodies.
- Communicates respectfully, openly, honestly and directly in accordance with Network Standards of behavior.
- Demonstrate skills in team building and leading the team to a shared vision.
- Investigates incident reports or quality issues and provides follow-up as needed.
- Hold self and others accountable to the highest standards.
- Develop, implement and manage all resources (human, material and financial) to support patient care needs while meeting the operating margins and financial targets for areas which accountable.
- Actively involved in organizational structures and systems to influence decision-making regarding patient care services.
- Collaborate with the Senior Regulatory Analysts and leadership to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
- Communicate information regarding regulations, policies, procedures, and other necessary information to all personnel utilizing available and appropriate dissemination resources.
