10797 Core Responsibilities: Providing expert advice & opinions in legal matters and guidance on speedy legal remedies available across locations Sending notices / replies in assigned cases and filing complaints / replies in the designated courts Ensuring fast proceeding of arbitration and obtaining decrees from local courts based on arbitrators awards Ensuring amicable resolution in against cases filed in police stations and ensuring execution of summons / bailable or non bailable warrants / awards / orders received from the courts with police help Manage the recovery litigation under arbitration and SARFAESI laws and provide proactive legal strategy for all sticky accounts. Track all legal cases so as to ensure no slippages, visiting NPA accounts along with the collection team for faster recovery Initiating appropriate legal actions in delinquent accounts against borrowers under Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 for recovery of dues including filing criminal complaints in qualified cases and take them to logical conclusion Co-coordinate with & procure data from collections function for legal action as per remedial process ( for / against) If required being Complainant in filing complaints / replies in the designated courts Attending courts on the assigned dates and empanel lawyers across locations as per requirement Lead and supervise the legal collections team for the implementation of a recovery agenda through appropriate training, motivation and deployment strategies Keep abreast of all latest developments/trends in local law/best practices with respect to collections, security creation and loan documentation. Ensure compliance to all Audit / NHB /IRB regulations as well as policies and procedures of the company. Desired Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years in the field.
