We are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager to join our team. As a Manager, you bring your CPA designation and extensive expertise in compilation and assurance services, coupled with strong leadership capabilities as proven by leading a team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to lead engagements, develop client relationships, and foster the growth of your team, all while progressing toward senior leadership positions within the firm.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, scope, and manage compilation and review engagements, ensuring all work meets professional and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluations to support team members’ growth and development.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with CAS, GAAP, ASNPO, and ASPE.
  • Guide the team in addressing complex accounting and assurance issues, ensuring practical and client-focused solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional communication and service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to clients through additional service offerings.
  • Manage team workload and engagement budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and timely project completion.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by participating in recruiting initiatives and delivering internal training sessions.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • CPA designation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public practice, including at a manager level.
  • Strong technical knowledge of CAS, GAAP, ASNPO, and ASPE, with practical experience in Caseware and financial reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage assurance engagements effectively, balancing client expectations and team deliverables.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating teams, including mentoring, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent understanding of risk assessment, materiality, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other audit tools and technology.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on fostering team cohesion and individual development.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with changes in accounting and assurance standards.
