MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

• Identify and manage different stakeholders, trying to connect and integrate different Functions to design and manage project risks in the best way.
• Be involved in project and or pillar decision making processes according to the risk profile.
• Monitors and manages project risk performance to deliver projects in line with risk and safety standards, requirements, budget and scope.
• Follows risk management processes, conducts risk assessments, complies with standards and accurately reports on risk to maximize safety and value across projects at BHP.
• Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Conducts presentations and facilitates workshops using storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience.
• Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.
• Engages the capabilities of the entire organization.
• Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
• Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.

About You

• University Engineering degree.
• 7+ years’ experience in risk management in an operational environment applying a variety of risk management techniques.
• 5+ years previous experience leading, developing and/or coaching teams.
• 5+ years’ experience in Mining Projects.
• Exposure across a broad spectrum of assets, functions and operating environments.
• English intermediate or advanced.
• This role requires site travel, with flexible work arrangements upon request.
