Job description
- Management and execution of demanding projects in the field of bank management and risk management with a focus on the implementation of regulatory requirements as well as the optimization of processes and IT systems.
- Analysis and design of control and risk management processes and governance structures, as well as identification of potential improvements, also with regard to the efficient implementation of regulatory requirements.
- Development and distribution of innovative service offerings in collaboration with colleagues to expand the business and product portfolio, as well as active involvement in market development and project acquisition.
- Disciplinary and professional management and development of consultants and project teams
- Creation and presentation of technical concepts, proposals and decision-making documents
- Advising our clients on bank management and risk management, specifically on operational risk, market risk (including interest rate risk in the banking book), credit risk, liquidity risk, and ESG risks.
- Consulting means flexibility: Your project assignment depends on our clients and your project situation – you work throughout Germany in our offices, on-site at the client's location, and from home.
Qualifications
- Completed studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, economics or a comparable field of study
- At least 5 years of practical experience in risk controlling at a bank and/or in corresponding projects at a consulting firm or auditing company.
- Very good knowledge of the regulatory requirements for bank management and risk management (CRR, CRD, CSRD, BCBS239, IRRBB, ICAAP/ILAAP, MaRisk, BAIT, DORA and/or requirements for ESG risk management)
- Proven track record in a position with revenue responsibility and long-term customer relationships
- Extensive experience in leading and managing (sub-)projects
- Excellent knowledge of project management methods and a high affinity for IT.
- MS Office skills, especially good PowerPoint and very good Excel skills.
- Good German skills (from B2 level) and English skills complete your profile.
