Description
To work with Business Units and Business Enablers to develop, review and update Risk P&Ps and other departments/divisions policies, whilst ensuring that such policies are in line with the best market practices and in conformity with both local regulatory and Basel risk management guidelines. To identify gaps and recommend risk management policies / processes for consistent application across the Bank. To provide advisory support and interpretation of policies (owned by the department) to Business Units and Business Enablers. To review / work with Group Risk and other overseas banking branches / subsidiaries policy colleagues on localizing Group-level risk policies (under the department’s purview) for local use. To organize sharing sessions to users of risk policies. To assist Head of Departments and Head of Risk Management on any assigned risk-related tasks and ad-hoc projects within Risk Management Division. To maintain all Risk-owned P&Ps and keep track of the updates from Group in relation to risk P&Ps. To manage the Control Effectiveness Testing process as well as administrative tasks for the department. Knowledge Skills and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field or equivalent experience >3 years experience in credit risk analysis and management Understandng of Basel and NBC regulations preferred Technical/Functional skills Good understanding of credit risk management and processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management skills Familiar with Basel and regulatory landscape Manage launch / dissemination of new risk policies Proficiency with PC applications Personal skills Good verbal and written communication skills Critical thinking – ability to connect the dots, see the big pictures and provide added value Attention to details Effective time management to manage multiple priorities with minimum supervision Highly organized and self-motivated Proven ability to interact and work with senior management as well as across functional teams Open mindedness to embrace changes
Responsibilities
