POSITION SUMMARY

Leads and oversees the safety and environmental team by setting strategic goals and driving the organization’s safety and environmental initiatives. Collaborates with senior leadership to develop safety and environmental policies, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance. Provides guidance to the safety and environmental team and communicates with stakeholders to promote a strong safety and environmental culture throughout the organization. Leads incident response efforts, analyzes safety data, and contributes to the development of sustainability programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years work experience with the following;

• Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
• Adept at business intelligence
• Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork

• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skillsWillingness and ability to travel approximately 80% within the states of Florida and Georgia with the possibility of additional states in the future.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) preferred.
• Environmental Compliance Certification preferred.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor degree OR equivalent experience.
