Job Description AECOM is looking for an SH&E Manager who will be responsible for identifying and leading the successful implementation of SH&E requirements. With the ability to assess and monitor compliance requirements and alignment with local SH&E legislative and regulatory obligations, as well as project and AECOM business requirements. Ensuring that AECOM’s Life Preserving Principles are applied consistently. Role & Responsibilities Develop and implement safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, OSHA regulations, and international safety standards Manage and track key performance indicators related to safety, health, and environmental metrics Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety practices into daily operations Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on safety performance and initiatives Oversee emergency response planning and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in safety, health, and environmental management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred Minimum 15+ years of experience in safety, health, and environmental management Familiarity with international safety standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Proven experience in implementing and managing safety management systems Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and educate at all levels of the organization Proficiency in using safety management software and data analysis tools Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
