Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This individual will work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Head of APAC Sales, sales leadership teams, and other business functions. The role will include analyzing sales performance, building strategic plans, and executing on impactful initiatives for the APAC sales teams. The Strategy & Planning function works closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure business growth and success.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Ongoing development and refinement of Megaport’s sales strategy.
  • Influence strategic decision-making by collaborating with the CSO, Head of APAC Sales, sales leadership team, executives, and your team members.
  • Retrieve & critically analyze large data sets, sales performance, and business processes to recommend improvements & execute.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, RevOps, sales, finance, engineering, and more to align on initiatives and desired outcomes.
  • Execute on business initiatives, ensure suitable metrics are in place to measure performance and progress, and assess the suitability and sustainability of growth opportunities.
  • Assist with consistent communication across the business to ensure all stakeholders understand the strategy, priorities, and their role in execution.
  • Outline the necessary sales activities, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones for successful execution and collaborate with the sales teams to establish the systems and policies to support sustained growth.
  • Provide regular updates to the CSO and other stakeholders, identifying gaps or obstacles, and recommending solutions as required.
  • Establish performance targets, metrics, and reporting processes to track the progress of strategic sales initiatives.
