Description

In this position the incumbent will be accountable for end-to-end supply chain deliverables for the Plant Operation and act as a catalyst/ Growth Enabler for the GEIS India Business in reducing the Time to Market for NPI through optimised Strategic Sourcing activties. The person will be responsible to drive Supply Chain strategy for GEIS India Plant & Business and manage daily SCM operations pertaining to production planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics and warehouse operations. Strong knowledge on end-to-end supply chain flow and activities with exccellent pan India supply base connect for various commodities. Responsible for on time delivery of products both for internal and external customers. Knowledge on production planning, scheduling & monitoring for daily production. Strong knowledge on Procurement and Strategic sourcing.Knowledge on SIOP will be an added advantage. Ensure timely onboarding of new suppliers, including documentation, due diligence, compliance checks, and system registration. Build strong, trust-based working relationships with functional and business leaders to drive shared accountability for supplier performance, timely approvals, and overall service delivery Any Bachelor or Masters degree in Engg. with a Professional/Certificate degree in Supply Chain like APICS/ CPM etc will be an added advantage. 20+ years in Supply chain & Strategic Sourcing 1. Strong Knowledge on SAP-MM/PP Module. Experience in handling Electronic, PCB,PCBA, Plastic Injection, Molding,Casting, sheet metal commodities is prefered
