Description

Understand existing systems and infrastructure. Assist in ongoing firmwide strategic projects. The role would eventually align to a trading desk and provide mentorship/leadership opportunity. Understand traded products/payoffs and mathematical pricer, maintain model and enhancement. Perform data analysis, modelling and assist with quantitative support to the Trading desk. Work with controllers and the model risk groups on model documentation and approval. Graduate up to 8 years of work experience. Degree in quantitative subjects. Ability to work closely with Sales/Traders, Tech and Risk teams. Programming experience in Python. Preferable to have C++/Java/Scala experience. Must be proactive in identifying opportunities to add value to trading desk. Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Preferred knowledge of at least one of European Power and Gas, LNG, Oil, and North American Power and Gas markets.
