OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional to join our Corporate Planning team to drive and enhance DSTA’s corporate governance efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in any discipline
  • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in corporate governance, risk management, compliance, or internal control, preferably in the public sector or a regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and engage stakeholders across diverse teams
  • Experience in digital transformation or automation projects related to governance or compliance would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, with a continuous learning mindset to keep pace with evolving governance and digital trends

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Implement Corporate Governance Initiatives: Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate governance policies and frameworks to uphold accountability, control, and alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.

  • Streamline Governance Processes: Promote innovation, and identify and implement opportunities to simplify governance-related processes while maintaining high standards of compliance and integrity.

  • Drive Governance-related Digitalisation: Lead or support the adoption of digital tools and systems that enhance the efficiency, transparency, and traceability of governance processes and reporting.

  • Engage and Collaborate with Stakeholders: Plan and conduct stakeholder engagement activities such as briefings, workshops, and feedback sessions to foster buy-in, and promote a strong governance culture.

  • Monitor and Report Compliance: Develop and maintain key performance indicators and dashboards to track governance and compliance performance. Provide insights and recommendations to support informed decision making.

  • Provide Advisory and Capacity Building Support: Advise Programme Centres and Corporate Entities on governance and compliance matters. Design and deliver training sessions to build internal capabilities and awareness.
