[What the role is] As part of Sentosa Development Corporation’s Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s brand narrative. You will lead strategic communications and public relations initiatives that strengthen Sentosa’s reputation as a premier leisure destination for both local and international visitors. [What you will be working on] Corporate Communications Oversee corporate publications including the website, and media monitoring reports. Ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with organisational objectives across all communication platforms. Media & Public Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with mainstream journalists, trade publications, online media, and social media influencers. Drive proactive media engagement through pitching, hosting familiarisation tours, and securing impactful coverage. Manage media queries and support issues/crisis communications with timely, transparent responses. Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to co-create destination campaigns and joint communications initiatives. Strengthen Sentosa’s positioning through strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagement. Leadership & Events Lead cross-functional communications projects and contribute to the planning and execution of corporate events. Provide guidance to junior team members and manage external agencies/vendors where required. [What we are looking for] Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline. At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors. Strong media pitching, writing, and editing skills. Proficiency in digital communications tools, including social media platforms, analytics dashboards, and emerging AI applications. Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous for engaging regional media and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes. A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
