The Company
Our client is a rapidly growing food and FMCG business with a national footprint and ambitious expansion plans. Following a recent business integration and broader transformation program, the organisation is investing heavily in its people, systems and infrastructure to support the next phase of growth. With operations spanning warehousing, distribution, procurement, inventory management and imported products, the business is focused on building a scalable supply chain capable of supporting a fast-growing network of locations across Australia. This is an opportunity to join a business at a pivotal point in its journey and play a key role in shaping its future.
Short Description
Rare opportunity to build and transform an end-to-end supply chain function within a growing food/FMCG business undergoing significant national expansion. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for creating greater structure, visibility and discipline across the end-to-end supply chain while supporting an ambitious growth agenda.
This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role where you will be tasked with assessing the current environment, identifying priorities and implementing practical improvements across planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics and systems.
A key initial focus will be leading the final stages of a major distribution integration project, ensuring processes, systems and service levels are aligned to support future growth. From there, you will drive improvements across store replenishment, inventory visibility, cold-chain distribution, warehouse operations and supplier management. The role will also play a critical part in shaping the future systems landscape. With limited end-to-end visibility currently in place, you will evaluate existing ERP capabilities, improve reporting and data integrity, and help define the technology roadmap required to support a scalable operation.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to broader supply chain strategy, helping to build the structure, processes and capability required to support continued national expansion.
This role offers a rare opportunity to build rather than maintain, making it ideal for someone who thrives in transformation environments and enjoys creating structure where it does not yet exist.
