Job Title: Manager Social Enterprise
Status: Temporary, Full Time (exempt)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (some evenings and weekends as required)
Location: Surrey, BC
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: This position starts at $72,000 per year and increases to $103,535 per year, over a 10- year period. This salary range incorporates experience, yearly salary increments to reward years of service, employee growth and development within the organization.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSES:
- University degree in business management or relevant post-secondary training and experience in business development.
- Proven recent business development experience, preferably with knowledge of the ITS industry.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a community based non-profit society and experience in management and/or funding and proposal/grant writing.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in supervising staff, preferably within a unionized setting.
- Experience with budget forecasting and expenditure monitoring.
- Strong English language skills including written, oral and presentation skills. A second language would be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong computer literacy skills, in particular, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Social media savviness is a definite asset.
- Knowledge of immigrant communities and settlement issues.
- Knowledge of Surrey, North Delta, White Rock, and/or Langley communities is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, discretion and judgement.
- Able to work independently and collegially in a team environment.
- Innovative, flexible, and able to manage change and uncertainty.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to personal vehicle.
- Willing to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
