Overview:
Lifeway is seeking a Manager, Social Media - Organic and Paid to lead our multi-platform social media strategy, drive engagement, and align campaigns with our brand and revenue goals. In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee the social media team and partner with internal marketing, content, creative, and paid media teams to grow our digital presence, optimize paid social efforts, and improve ROI.
You’ll lead content strategy, paid campaign execution, performance tracking, and community engagement across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more. As a creative and data-driven leader, you’ll guide messaging, campaigns, and reporting while growing a team of social media specialists.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree, Marketing, Communications, or related field - required
Masters degree, preferred
Advanced graduate degree (PhD, etc.) - not required

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCES, REQUIRED

  • 5+ years in social media, digital, or content marketing
  • 1+ year leading social media professionals
  • Demonstrated success growing engagement and conversions
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility (ADA standards)
  • Strong expertise in major platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest)
  • Experience running paid social campaigns and managing budgets
  • Experience with influencer marketing or social listening tools
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g. Sprout, Hootsuite, GA4)
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration
    Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCES, PREFERRED

  • Experience in eCommerce or event marketing
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo
Responsibilities
  • Lives out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
  • Lead Lifeway’s multi-platform social media strategy across key channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Manage and mentor the social media team, ensuring brand consistency and campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and execute paid social media campaigns that drive engagement and conversions for events and ecommerce.
  • Oversee daily content planning, publishing, and performance tracking.
  • Analyze KPIs and apply insights to improve reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Foster influencer and partner relationships to grow audience reach.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and creative teams to integrate social into broader GTM strategies.
