Summary: As a Software Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of engineers in delivering scalable and secure SaaS solutions, drive Agile adoption and AI/ML integration, and foster a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation while ensuring compliance and operational excellence. Requirements: 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams with direct people management. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Proven track record delivering cloud-native SaaS products. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps principles. Experience with observability tools, incident management, and performance optimization. Familiarity with AI/ML technologies is a plus. Strong communication skills with a passion for coaching engineers. Ability to manage team schedules, balance priorities, and deliver on commitments. Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality features in a modern SaaS environment. Drive adoption of Agile practices, continuous integration, and test automation across the team. Collaborate closely with product and QA partners to align engineering priorities with customer needs. Support the integration of AI/ML into product features and engineering workflows. Promote a culture of quality, ownership, and accountability within the team. Oversee release readiness, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure secure coding practices and adherence to compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.). Provide input into technical architecture and implementation while enabling engineers to take ownership.
