Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:$147,000—$221,000 USD

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Collaborate with product management, architects, tech leads, and dependent teams to help define and refine a comprehensive product roadmap
  • Ensure, with the assistance of our delivery and enablement team, that your team builds high-quality features that are able to operate at the scale our customers require.
  • Providing regular feedback, technical guidance, and mentoring to team members
  • Fostering collaborative, engaging and inclusive team environments
  • Maintaining and improving our culture by sourcing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversity & inclusion

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • 5+ years hands-on experience building high-quality enterprise software on the cloud using Javascript/Typescript/NodeJS, Golang, REST APIs, JSON
  • 3+ years of leadership and management experience
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people of various backgrounds
  • Experience working with product & program managers to align on objectives, priorities, trade-offs and risk
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
