POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead key development initiatives for Punchh, PAR’s industry-leading loyalty platform designed specifically for restaurants. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product and technical leaders and a talented team of engineers to deliver scalable, performant solutions that enhance our overall application platform and POS integrations.
You’ll apply best practices in software development and Agile methodologies to deliver consistent results, while leveraging your leadership experience to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You understand that high-performing teams are built on trust, collaboration, and strong relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Scrum teams of software engineers, QA, and QE
  • Guide Agile ceremonies and help the team prioritize, plan, and execute efficiently
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design and develop system features
  • Partner with architects and engineering leads to propose and implement architectural improvements
  • Drive the technical debt roadmap and ensure long-term scalability
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality software through partnership with QA teams
  • Manage projects to align with budget, scope, and schedule
  • Track team performance with metrics and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Foster strong team relationships and a collaborative culture
  • Recruit, mentor, and coach engineers and QA professionals
