Job Description

DESIRED SKILLS

  • 8+ years of experience hands-on software development
  • Strong scripting/development skills (ex: JavaScript, Python, Go, Ruby, Java, etc).
  • Expertise on ServiceNow platform and products (e.g. ITSM, CSM, HR, SecOps etc)
  • Mastery of TDD best practices and passion for testing your code
  • Expertise with highly scalable service APIs
  • Expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
  • Familiarity with REST and other integration mechanisms
  • Familiarity with an Agile development environment
  • Familiarity with Quality Engineering and an understanding of different types of testing: functional and security testing

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

As a Software Quality Engineering Manager, you will be a member of the store app certification engineering team working on a centralized certification service. The certification team is responsible for Implementation Reviews of Scoped Applications certified on ServiceNow Store, that allow submitted content to be reviewed and certified against best practices and security on the ServiceNow platform.

In this role, you will utilize your experience to:

  • Manage Certification team development activities
  • Manage daily activities of the certification team
  • Solve difficult and sometimes ambiguous problems
  • Work with partner developers to assess the scoped applications
  • Work with ServiceNow Product & Platform teams to collaborate on best practices, evaluation of a custom solution developed by partners
  • Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team

Qualifications

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU HAVE:

  • B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.S./M.Tech. in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications and with excellent academic record
  • 8+ years of software development experience (JavaScript, RESTful API, HTML, XML) are must-haves
  • Ability to learn quickly the new features and products on the ServiceNow platform
  • Ability to execute a project based on our priorities, context, risks and desired outcomes
