JOB SUMMARY

The Manager/Sr. Manager of Business Development shall be responsible for Technology Solutions business across Middle East and Africa. With over 80+ Process Licensed Technologies in our portfolio, the role shall be focused on driving business growth in both conventional and energy transition projects. This role requires proactive approach for creating opportunities together with management skills, with seamlessly navigating complex internal interfaces across Product Service Lines (PSL), Operations, Finance, and Legal, while also understanding and navigating client organizations to foster strong partnerships. The ideal candidate will have deep energy industry domain knowledge combined with business development and negotiation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 8+ years within the energy industry with 5+ years in business development or sales for Technology solutions.
  • Background in Engineering/Technical preferred.
  • Proven track record of success with key clients in the MEA region
  • Experienced in operating at senior levels with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). Arabic (preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of the local regulatory landscape.
Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed revenue/Job Income targets and KPIs, demonstrating a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability in the key markets.
  • Business development initiatives in MEA, focusing on generating new leads in key regions such as Saudi, Qatar and Sub-Sahara Africa.
  • Strengthen market position within refining, olefins and downstream chemicals segments.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities through in-depth knowledge of market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and industry trends.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in NOC’s, IOC’s, EPC partners, project developers and government agencies, to foster collaboration and drive business growth.
  • Lead high-quality bid and proposal processes, working cross-functionally with technical (PSL), commercial, and operations teams. Managing proposal development, negotiation, and contract signature.
  • Create deal summaries, highlighting in depth project details, organization charts and action-closure plans
  • Develop concise reporting summaries on key customer engagement. Including accurate updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility, build strategic partnerships, and identify potential business leads.
